The big M was stuck on 48 goals for the last 14 games of the season, fans were pissed he missed out on 50
Mathews was at 58 with 10 games left. Will history repeat, I get that Mathews isn't even playing and Mahovlich was but still....

I don't mind sitting Campbell. Tampa seems desperate given Vasy has kinda been cold recently. Why risk it...

Plus more than Campbell we need to get Tavares and Spezza going. They would be needed in the playoffs

Dont think Willy is going anywhere. We don't anybody to replace him with... on top of that when Tavares is off the books I'd rather that cap hit is invested in Willy instead of some other UFA that is overpaid.

That said, if Willy is pissed at Keefe for throwing him under the bus but not even a peep about Tavares then I am not sure.....

I've been watching Boston play recently. Their defensive play is a lot stronger than what Tampa is bringing recently.

probably not, willy and keefe have done this song and dance before and they've been cool with it.

Its not a bad idea either to get some confidence from your back up too you know just in case he is needed in the playoffs. I like this move from Keefe. Let Kallgren see the kinda team he potentially might face in the playoffs. Let him get used to the shots/plays etc... that tampa might throw

I like it too. This idea we run Campbell to get him going is short sighted. He had a good last game, let the kid go tonight, keep our eyes on the prize. If Campbell gets injured our playoffs likely over. Three more starts for Jack I’d be fine with.
