This is as perimeter a game as you can play. Feels like a 'dont get injured' kinda effort if we're being real
 
The one positive from this game is that it has nicely pre-heated my hatred of our playoff opponent.

I'm "desperate"? Me? For what earthly reason are you saying/projecting this? It's a simple fact the Leafs failed, AGAIN, in a clinching scenario. This is who the Leafs are. To say so is not desperation.

Leafs will not beat Florida. What does that do to the standings?

The choke job scenario is still alive because the Leafs didn't close the door. How quickly we forget Boston, Montreal, etc.

A Florida team who needs comebacks in every game to win? Not sustainable. Leafs are quite likely to be up 12 points very soon. Again stop embarassing yourself.

Will they suddenly find this in twonweeks? They've done kore of it this year but not lately.

It was the one reason I wanted Ritchie here.

Which is concerning as to why he wasn't playing tonight. He's been good his last two games, why sit him when he's healthy, building confidence, gaining momentum and has a chance to play against his first round opponent?

Doesn't make any sense to me. Just... none.

Not sustainable? Hmmm. Nearly done it for an 82-game season. Looks sustainable to me. There's a ton of jealousy toward Florida because the Leafs high-flying offenses have all wilted in the playoffs.

The Panthers compare favorably to the Cup winning Super Mario Pens teams. Will they win like they did? I don't know. Choke factor is high for them, IMO.

Yet, that is not a thing to do with the Leafs how lose when they have something riding time after time.
