Clash of the titans type of game right there! And to think there's going to be 2 more of those in the coming weeks, the race for the president's trophy is gonna be a close one!

Huge game. Let's hope our boys come out strong. How about giving Price an early lead, for a change.

Montreal generally steps up to big games like that, they're going for the win.

Looking forward to see the 3rd line once again and hopefully a contribution from the first two lines. Plekanec, Galchenyuk and Desharnais need to play better.

They always have a tough time against the Lightning's goalies, for some reason... the exception being last year's Playoffs. ;)

To annoy all camps while winning big...
Out shot 25-9 in the first and second period.
4 PP's without a goal.
Hat trick by Eller.
Hat trick by DD.
Lots of fans saying Eller's goals were all him and he was in beast mode. Dominating. 1st line C worthy performance.
Lots of fans saying DD's goals were because of Patches/Subban/Markov and that all of them were pure luck. Invisible except when he gets knocked off the puck and thrown around like a rag doll all night.
Habs win 7-0, Price gets closer to tying shutout record.
Patches with empty net goal fed by Subban but faceoff won by DD (secondary assist).

They gotta score early and often, let Tampa Bay remember how meh their road record is and that they can't feel confident coming into the BC.

Heart says: Habs get big win against a team that has made them look horrible since the season started. Brain says: outshot 3-20 in the first, down 4 after 2, score 2 goals in 3rd period, Price with 60 saves.

You mean the way they "stepped up" the two other times they played TB?

The first game was more of a statement game for TBay. I think they wanted to show us look we're much better than what we showed last spring.

I hate to give my gut feeling because I'm usually dead wrong about these things haha, but I think they'll be ready for this one (Habs).

I think the best offense meeting the best defense is pretty cool too. Should be interesting from a purely hockey fan standpoint. I've always been a huge proponent of defensive hockey, so having two extremes of the spectrum to kind of observe tonight is pretty interesting I think.
