Of course it's alot.

For MTL perspective..

Reinbacher ++ valuables assets.
1st pick of MTL is on the table.
Cole Caufield too.

I'm a big fan of him so I value Tage alot for the Sabres. TT would put Suzuki in the right place as 2C.

Asking for a friend.

Soon to be 32 yr old guy with history of locker room issues and just returning from checking out on team for a month is exactly what this Buffalo Sabres team needs.
I still don't understand who has problems, Miller or Pettersson, I've seen different versions here. But in any case, there's no particular point in us trading Tage.

It's rough having teams try to poach your good players for a collection of lesser pieces with no consideration for your team's situation and needs. I feel for you Buffalo fans.

Like I get why people would try this with Cozens. He's underperforming, his contract is pretty risky. Maybe you can buy low and convince the Sabres to cut their losses. Thompson though? They're not going to accept the trade unless it's crazy.

Habs fans, start your proposals with Suzuki and a top 3 protected first, then add another asset you consider untouchable, then maybe, just maybe, you'll get the attention of Sabres fans.

Tage is almost as untouchable as Dahlin. Not because he’s a superstar or anything but because he’s an actual 1C and we have no center depth behind him. He’s also the only definitive top line player we have.

The ONLY was he’s moved would be in some wild scenario where, say, Draisaitl became available.

None of the offers here comes close to what I'd offer for a similar player as a Sabres fan.

Peterka, Power, unprotected 1st, Levi ir something similar.

Star players are much more important than a bunch of good to very good players.

27 years old player with 1 ppg season under his belt is worth Suzuki, a very likely top 5 1st and ANOTHER untouchable asset, to MAYBE get the Sabres attention?

That's like 3 times the value Buffalo got for Jack Eichel who led Vegas to a cup.

I think you can ask any Sabre fan and they are not happy with the Eichel return.

But that is a player demanding a trade, injured and scheduled for a unproven surgery

Why would Buffalo trade Thompson for less?
