Not enough. Van Pottelberghe, like yesterday, was solid so far but not outstanding. Most saves were routine saves. Swedes got lots of shots and possession but very little quality chances...and they found ways to waste the few ones they had.

If this doesn't get better soon they need to fire the coach and send someone else over fast before the finals. Some very questionable selections and dahlin 7th dman instead of on the first or second unit is just stupid. Unless Montén got some masterplan to hide the secret weapon and remake the lines like a genius in the final

Probabaly because he played in NA, and maybe he looked better in the junior league, which is lower level.

Eriksson Ek and Nylander have had some good chances but maybe not that much sustained zone time. Put a more skilled player up there - the third player on that line doesn't seem to fit (Ahl?)

Gundstrom would really make that line go IMO.

Was gonna say the same thing, would've been interesting to see Boqvist instead of Ahl. I thought Ahl would be effective on the smaller rink but has been a complete no factor through two games so far. Not sure what he is supposed to bring to this team.

He's just kind of there. Not that Nylander has really done anything yet.
 
Uh... not the greatest play be Dahlin there. I hope they don't bench him now though. Would instantly drain his confidence. Had been very good up until that shift
 
How many more times are the Swedes allowed to try to hurt Van Pottelberghe before they actually get a penalty? Come on...
 
Definitely not impressed by Kylington in this game. Just tries to do too much, plays way too fancy. Easy to see why he hasn't been selected to the team in prior years and was a question mark this year too.
