The Grundstrom-Pettersson-Andersson line, and the 4th line look good.

Actually, Grundstrom looks like 1st rounder quality to me. He's been the best Swede in the tournament so far.

Gundstrom is good; NHL ready or close. Dahlen would look good on that line as well IMO.

Not sure why people are throwing so much hate at Kylington. Not gonna lie, he took some horrible shots on that one powerplay that led to easy clears but other than that, he's been solid today. Hasn't made any defensive errors and has rarely spent time in the defensive zone.

-Pettersson looks really weak out there, looks better when he got the space like he have in the Euro Rinks.
-Kylington looks like Rundblad 2.0
-Ahl does nothing, why is he in the top 6? Seems like an old school choice, play the big guy to create time and space for the creative guys. Doesn't work at all tbh.

Also, Swedes should experiment with some line combos.

Eriksson Ek and Nylander have had some good chances but maybe not that much sustained zone time. Put a more skilled player up there - the third player on that line doesn't seem to fit (Ahl?)

I'm gonna be more of a cynic and say that he doesn't consider a good old actual cell-phone a cell-phone, and is thinking about Smartphones.

Incidentally, smartphones have also been around for quite a while, so Andersson probably doesn't know what he's talking about.

He probably just means the difference between generations. His generation was probably the last one that actually did something outdoors. I guess it's relative though im alot older and I feel that my generation was the last one..

This will be an important period of hockey for the swedish team. theyre playing decently, but they could be working harder, play more focused. Lets see if we can step it up.

Sweden can play better as team, but 97 generation is a meh generation. The only players I will miss next year is Grundström and Kylington, and maybe Asplund. Larsson better than Lindholm at the same age anaheim coaches said, yeah right.

But Dahlin is really something special, he is 16 and a tier above everyone else.

Not really bad in his own zone but plenty of bad plays in the o zone that has caused chances against

The Swizz are lucky to have 2-2 so far

Haha. That's what the Czechs also said yesterday :D

In the end it's not luck but just the poor and stupid play of our opponents that allows us to compete with just 2 defenders and 6 forwards. If you aren't able to create high scoring chances despite having the puck all game long and if you take stupid penalties, those 8 guys are, together with Van Pottelberghe, good enough make you pay...

Swedish commentator Mikael Renberg (yes btw, for anyone wondering, The Mikael Renberg from flyers) thought so to. We didnt get to see a overhead replay, shame.

That looked very suspect.

Some quality chances in the end. I also agree that post shot was a suspect goal.

Looked pretty damn in to me. Would love a better replay on that one.

The shot that hit the post and came back out and the goalie covered it? TSN had a replay, quite clearly just hit the post.

Yeah, I guess that's an explanation too. I find it funny when kids that age talk about how younger kids don't respects their elders / don't spend time outdoors.

My generation was obviously the last one that did.

After seeing Ahl play 1½ game I have no idea on what merits he was chosen before some of the players in Sweden playing SHL/Allsvenskan right now..

What are you talking about? Sweden has created many high scoring chances but their PP is very bad though
