Isn't he Göteborg born and raised?

Idk just went by the team he was playing for bad joke sorry

Though his accent sorta sounded like a gothenburg Småland mashup so..

It's not like the WJCs matter that much. At least for us, considering that we have minimal chances at winning it all anyway.
It's something they have to learn at some point. Blowouts happen. They suck, but you have to get over them if you want to make it to the pros.

Anyway, game isn't over yet. But I'm afraid if our top pairing is tired when playing against the "weaker" teams we should be able to beat.

Exactly. Gross has been a nice surprise and Karrer / Siegenthaler have been just what we all expected. But other than that, this defense is competely useless. So if you basically only got one pairing and leaned on them heavily just 24h ago, you might as well just rest them a bit. We won our 1st game. There's no need to force anything here. But from what I've seen, Karrer / Siegenthaler again almost played all period long. Can't do this 4 times in 5 days.

Yeah, Chicago and Gothenburg. But I think Lias referred to iPads and the likes. He has somewhat of a point, I think. I never see kids playing street hockey these days. Wow I sound grumpy

Lööke quietly having a good game

I honestly didn't know that Dahlén is Ulf's son.

That's pretty cool. Too bad he hasn't taught him the "Charlie Chaplin walk".

He actually skates just like Ulf, he had one sequence like that in the game against the danes and I've seen him do it many times before. The ten-to-two skating style.

Kylington is almost as frustrating to watch as Rundblad once were in the WJC. Flashes of pure brilliance mixed with horrendous decisions...

Defensively, Sweden is pretty underwhelming.

Without a thunderous backcheck from all the forwards, the top teams will exploit our D.

Yeah, I've notice that too. Similar to Jeremy Bracco in that sense?

Seriously that boxplay can go **** itself

Yeah, that's a weak goal.

Nice pass by Hischier.

I had forgotten how off the reffing is in this tournament. Or strict compared to the NHL I guess.

Agree. All this talk about top d-men prospects coming out of Sweden, and this is what we get? A lot to improve. I miss Liljegren.

Larsson is not good. Get him off the PP.

Can't believe they didn't take Liljegren. Even if he wasn't better than most of them, he'd be the only RHD.
