Kylington makes pretty plays and all but he needs to be smarter

Yesterday, Karrer played 22:55 and Siegenthaler 26:36. These two are the only decent defenders the Swiss have. You can't lean on them like that twice within 24 hours. After the win yesterday, you might as well just rest them a little bit and play Matteo Ritz, who's a fantastic goalie as well.

This isn't smart coaching at all.

You can tell that Kylington doesn't handle Dahlin's "fame" too good, he constantly tries to be too cute.

lol what

That's just how Kylington plays sometimes. I highly doubt his burning jealousy of Dahlin is affecting his play. What a weird comment.

I wonder if Monten knows how much heat he will receive when he comes back to Sweden if he keeps medias new golden boy benched through the entire tournament. Unless he comes home with gold that is

Kylington seems to still have the issues with his ego and lack of maturity in his decisions.

Kind of reminds me of PK Subban earlier in his NHL career.

If you rest Karrer and Siegenthaler you get into a blowout very fast. And I don't agree that they are decent, they are good, both.

Swisscheese trying to goon it up against 16 year olds?

On another note, Dahlin is honestly our best defenseman. Obviously he's not playing much, so that might not be the case with more ice-time, but please, for the love of ****ing everything, play him more instead of sending out mediocre crap that kill every play.

Dahlin shouldn't be pinning a guy to the boards well after the period ends, and then flopping to try and draw a penalty.

Stadler can defend too. Though can get beat physically.

In fact I wish he would use his natural ability more to push play up ice. Has hands, skates nicely, but is very conservative in his play generally.

A 2-8 loss is just as "good" as a 3-5 loss in most cases.

Might as well save them for teams we actually should be able to beat without overachieving.

Why is he pinning a Swiss player to the boards well after the period ends? Is that a typical hockey play in sweden?

Hope the Swiss player won't get any emotional scars from that "pin".

Perhaps he needs a safe space and some crayons. :)
