The path to Gold starts! No game are easy , but this Swedish team looks really strong,
6-1 Sweden.

Sweden has a really strong team from Goalies to Forwards, have also 3-4 clutch players, so they arent easy to match against, play fast and tough and in playoffs the refs aloud more. Of the big 4 teams left in the wjc i hold Sweden as the best team so far!

Everything but a win for Sweden would be a disaster. Not that it would be the first time Sweden folds when the knockout stage begins.

Sweden has made it to the semifinal the last 10 years. This game should be won, the next however..

Just want to see a good game, no high expectations.

Anyway good luck to team Sweden and good luck to you guys in the final two games if you beat us.

If Slovakia nets 2 goals, I will consider it a success for them. The offence on that team is so bad :(

I think this team is weaker than most of the previous years... last years team for example had a much better D

In how many hours does the game start? I'm lost in time zones. Don't know if I counted right.

On paper perhaps, but look at Finland this year! This years Sweden team has swag and the team has the right mix and the best goalie. plays a more NA style of game and looks really good out there. Think they has big chances to grab the cup this year!

Last years team had worse forwards.

Debateable I guess, but I see Holmström, Kempe, Lindblom, Timashov, (W.Nylander had ne hot been injured) as better than the replacement players for this season.... bear in mind that Asplund, Grundström, Eriksson Ek etc were already on last years team albeit 1 year younger and a little less developed.

Huska in goal. Milos Roman is out with a concussion :(, Grman will play on the fourth line instead of him.

This years team has a lot better depth than previous years which really is the strength of the team.
