Dahlin is a rare talent.

He is really good already and is going to be flat out amazing in two years.

I can think of like 5 other players that probably deserve to be mentioned with those other 4 before Tkachuk.

Indeed. Wilde, Wahlstrom, Groulx... the list is long and it's early to put them in any order. We're close enough to see it's gonna be a great draft.

I'd put Lundeström, Bokvist, Wernblom, Zadina, Khovanov ahead of Tkachuk aswell.

I know it's 6-0 and the predicted outcome will be realized but after decades of watching international hockey, the improvement in the quality of Denmarks play is nice to see.
They're closing the gap. slowly but surely.

Not impressed by the swedish D. Only really Dahlin, Bernhardt and possibly L. Carlsson that has looked good to my eye. Need more from Larsson and G. Carlsson in particular. Kylington seems very turnover prone too.

Dahlin got on the ice made a great pass so we could enter the zone then the coach calls him to bench the next second wtf is going on

Yup, considering how small of a sport hockey is there, they're doing a fantastic job.

Yeah, definitely, but its also important to not that he isn't a freak of nature in terms of raw talent. Like he isn't a 18 y/o Ilya Kovalchuk on D or something like that. Never will be.

I am not 100% sure how his game will develop in the coming years thanks to it.

He is a special player, no doubt. Best young Swedish D I have seen next to Vic Hedman. Better than OEL, Adam Larsson and co. But "how" good can he become? Down the line and before his draft year? He isn't the type who will pwn the opponents with his raw talent. How far can smarts and very very functional raw talent get you? How much can he develop physically?

1 game? You mean 4 minutes of icetime

Small sample size, but its truly amazing. I've been pumping his tires and hyping him up for a long time. But i've honestly been underrating him. Didn't think he could make an impact this big as a defenseman.

Swedish commentators talk about shutout with 3 minutes left, Danes score a minute later.
