16 years old : Gretzky in 1978, 17 pts in 6 games.
16 years old D: Reijo Ruotsolainen in 1977, 5 pts in 7 games

Man, that Gretzky kid was an all right hockey player.
But the D record looks very much within Dahlin's reach. Wouldn't be surprised if he doubled that point total if he keeps playing like he has this game. Kid looks like something special.

Why is Liljegren not there? Is he injured?

Wasn't selected for the team. Missed a lot of time with mono, came back and looked pretty rusty. He's on the reserve list if someone gets injured though.

Best player in the tournament?

Good lord... Not even close. Kid is good but this is a games against Denmark. Lets wait and see how he handles minutes against the top teams before we name him as better than the large amount of insanely talented players in this tournament

He has just come back from injury/illness so I imagine they didn't opt to include him even for the training camp because he hasn't played that much lately.

Patrik Laine was the best player last year.

I think he's done something noteworthy on every shift.

Dahlin just looks like a rare talent playing in a game of good junior hockey players. He sticks out, and then you consider he's 16.

2018 is gonna be one hell of a draft. Dahlin, Svechnikov, Veleno, Tkachuk, Merkley....

It's interesting how a lot of talented young swedish D have been dubbed the next Lidström in past years (Hedman, Larsson etc), but Dahlin might actually be the closest thing to Lidström that Sweden has had in all these years. Still a long way to go but as a 16 year old Dahlin is probably ahead of all of Hedman/Larsson/OEL/Karlsson and whoever else.

yep that 5 foot pass his 1st shift was very noteworthy. Obviously he's a special talent and will be a high pick next year(probably 1) but maybe he should play 15+ minutes in all situations against better competition before announcing him the best player in the tournament. He has looked good when he has been on the ice but it's against a weaker team and he hasn't even been out when the best players for Denmark have been out.

Nylander and Eriksson Ek have been the best players so far this game

Just get Tv4play Premium for a month. 99 SEK for a month isn't that much, or if you haven't had it before you can probably get a free trial month.

Payed for tv4play premium but the game was not included. Had to pay for cmore
