Not a lot of eligible returnees from this years squad:

Forwards
Isak Lundeström
Fabian Zetterlund

Defenders

Rasmus Dahlin
Erik Brännström
Timothy Liljegren

Goaltenders
Olle Eriksson-Ek

I give about 0.01% chance of Dahlin being allowed to play next year, and most likely we are not seeing the other two defenders returning either. Will probably be a whole new team next year. Adam Boqvist and Isak Lundeström will be key players.

If they are all available:

Hållander - Olofsson - Elvenes
Bemström - Lundeström - Zetterlund
Höglander - Gustafsson - Berggren
Lycksell - Bäck - Svenningsson

Boqvist - Dahlin
Liljegren - Brännström
Lundkvist - Walfridsson
Westerlund

I'm sure the actual team will look nothing like this though.

Lots to choose from, hard to guess which guys will make the team this far out.

As for the returness I think Brännström is fairly like to return, I'd give Liljegren a 50/50 chance. It would be a shock if Dahlin was made available.

I think a top4 D consisting of Brännström, Liljegren, Sandin and Boqvist would be really solid. I guess Westerlund and 2 other guys would fill out the D. Lots of guys fighting for spots there.

The forward group will be pretty meh in terms of star quality but should have some solid depth again next year. Hopefully guys like Olofsson, Lundeström and Hållander can progress nicely.

Watched some of the U18 camp scrimmages. Höglander will be next years Fjällby/Söderlund, his speed and intensity level is outrageous.

Do any of you guys really think Dahlin will be available? I dont think Liljegren will be available either, and maybe not Brännström either.

Dahlin - very unlikely. The other two will likely be available.

Hållander - Lundeström - Elvenes
Sylvegård - Olofsson - Zetterlund
Bemström - Gustafsson - Lycksell
Emanuelsson - Bäck - Berggren
A.Eriksson

Boqvist - Brännström
Liljegren - Ragnarsson
Berglund - Själlin
Westerlund

What are the chances that we get to see the swedish Ovechkin next year? :D

I'd say about as likely as we get to see Dahlin, but it's an interesting thought. We'll likely lack gamebreakers too.

A Brannstrom-Liljegren pairing, with both in their D+2 years, could be the best in the tournament.

Other than that, not much to be excited about, though much can change in one year's time. Dahlin will not be there folks.

Outside of the holy 4 we got so many good defenders:

Rasmus Sandin
Tom Hedberg
Jacob Ragnarsson
Filip Johansson
Nils Lundqvist
Adam Ginning
Victor Berglund
Calle Själin
Filip Westerlund

Insane amount of good D-mans.

Wild cards among Forwards:

Oscar Pentler. 7 points in 34 games with Almtuna.

Jacob Peterson. Frölunda guy who was loaned to Björklöven and had 7 points in 15 games with them.

Eric Aterius. 4 points in 8 games with Leksand. Come out of nowhere and is already a fan-favorite with his speedy gritty style.

Hugo Leufvenius. Very big. Putting up alot of points in OHL.

Richard Hugg. Was considered a super-talent before this season. Did struggle in OHL but might find his touch again.

Olofsson, Elvenes, Hållander, Lundeström, Boqvist could be good ones as well. Berggren is fairly untested at senior level but he has been good in superelit. It will be a decent year.

There is even more, like Björnfot, Söderström, Johansson, but yeah no shortage of good d even without Dahlin, even if Dahlin would ofc standout in the unlikely event that he would play.

Hållander - Olofsson - Elvenes
Bemström - Lundeström - Berggren
Sylvegård - D.Gustafsson - Zetterlund
Albin Eriksson - Westfält - Höglander
Lycksell, Emanuelsson

Dahlin - Boqvist
Brännström - Liljegren
Ragnarsson - Ginning
Lundkvist

Eriksson Ek
Åhman
Lindblom

Should be a gold-candidate. If Dahlin is not on the team is not end of world with the dmans we have.

Höglander wont be in this team, pretty sure about that

Is that a joke? Okay, fine the coach or federation but why punish players further that have already shown remorse and apologized.
