Fyra spelare får lämna JVM-laget i Buffalo, USA
Backen Filip Westerlund och forwards Lucas Elvenes, David Gustafsson, och Jacob Olofsson får lämna JVM-truppen i Buffalo, USA, de kommer att resa hem till Sverige i dag lördagen den 23 december 2017.

Filip Westerlund, Lucas Elvenes, David Gustafsson and Jacob Olofsson have been cut from the team.

Strange to cut Elvenes but the other three cuts were the right ones, really trimmed the dead weight off the roster. Elvenes was their 6th best forward IMO so it's a loss but not a huge one.

Instead of having a super first line with nyllet, lias and pettersson its better we split up to get more firepower on the second line.

I agree splitting the firepower up seems like the best move. Unfortunately I am not very confident about Karlström in a scoring role, I would try moving Pettersson to C and play Zetterlund as a winger on his line (only since they decided Elvenes wasn't good enough).

Poor coaching in this tournament is par for the course. But once in a while the players shall overcome!

I kinda like the impression Montén gives but he's middle of the pack at best and got lots to prove. I'd gladly be proven wrong this tournament.

I was also shocked to know he's 40. I mean he's been around for a while but he's probably still showing his driver's license when buying booze.

This coaching staff is making some questionable calls already.

I can understand spreading the firepower, but I much preferred Eye of Ra's top 6. Lias needs to play with at least one of Nylander/Pettersson. It makes very little sense to waste both star wingers on an inferior center.

Oh for f***s sake that is the worst possible f***ing line combinations I don't even know where to f***ing start f*** off with this bad f***ing piece of absolute trash coaching. First he doesn't even split the talent up, well he does a little bit by separating Lias and Pettersson/Nylander but Lias isn't the kind of creative visionary that does stuff on his own that Pettersson and Nylander is. So you really only have one scoring line.

Oh for ****s sake that is the worst possible ****ing line combinations I don't even know where to ****ing start **** off with this bad ****ing piece of absolute trash coaching. First he doesn't even split the talent up, well he does a little bit by separating Lias and Pettersson/Nylander but Lias isn't the kind of creative visionary that does stuff on his own that Pettersson and Nylander is. So you really only have one projected scoring line because you take away the creativity, on top of that you place players with talent that is seriously going to limit the creative players possibility to thrive offensively. This is quite possibly the worst top 6 he could have possibly put together.

It's pretty bad. He's really going all-in on Lindstrom.

Don't like Andersson playing without support either. A Nylander-Andersson-Boqvist line makes too much sense.
