Ah ok, didn't know you could carry more than the 12F/6D in WJC or at least exhibition. Hopefully that means Liljegren roves through all pairs to see Dahlin-Liljegren![]()
Are there any podcasts from Sweden in English that would cover the WJC that you would recommend?Sweden's biggest hockey podcast (NHL-timmen) ranked the Swedish team #4 and I think I agree. Sweden is a contender no doubt, but the team probably gets a bit overrated because people don't look that much beyond the top names on this team. Finland this year is arguably equal in top end talent and seems to have better depth.
Alexander Nylander - Linus Lindstrom - Elias Pettersson
Lukas Elvenes - Lias Andersson - Jesper Boqvist
Two balanced lines elite scoring lines
I feel like Andersson has been on that top line so long that they are hesitant to break them up. Don't think scoring depth will be a problem for this team though.Alexander Nylander - Linus Lindstrom - Elias Pettersson

They are rotating it seems. Dahlin has been on the left so far and took the penalty that led to the first American goal. Liljegren took a dumb retaliatory slashing penalty at the end of the 1st.Anyone watching this? Which side is Dahlin playing on, and who is Liljegren playing with?
He's taken shifts with Dahlin this game. They are trying to give the fringe guys shots to see what they have though. It is a fine balance. To me, it is a little strange. If he is to be rested, rest him and give him the day off completely.
He's Sweden's best RHD by far. If he's going to play at all, he should be lined up with his regular partner (hopefully Dahlin), not as seventh D-man.
Have to make room for Brännström as well.
Maybe, just maybe, they were resting Liljegren against the US because he's actually used to play vs NA-competition?To me, it is a little strange. If he is to be rested, rest him and give him the day off completely.

"Nooo, thats crazy-thinking!!!" - right?
He played. Was on the 2nd PP unit, and took a penalty. So did liljegren play or not?
