LMFAO joseph got thrown down with 1 hand, holy weak

First goal: Swede going for a clear breakaway. Stick held. Canada goes the other way and scores not twenty seconds later.
Second goal: Chabot dive. Canada score right afterwards.
Third goal: Gauthier pushes Sandström's pad from the post along with the puck. Officials don't even review it.
Fourth goal: Holding called after the puck is already lost by means of a poke-check. The only thing the "hold" did was prevent crashing into the goalie. Canada score right away.

Now, the refs have been **** both ways, Canada has played better overall and just capitalised on the mistakes of the ref whereas Sweden has capitalised on mistakes by the opposing goalie, but this is ridiculous.

:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Strome looks like he will have a big nhl career, his hands, stickwork, and size package is perfect for the NHL.

He might not impress much in fast paced games like the world juniors, but in the NHL, slowed down he will have a big career.

I am not sure if the NHL is really slowed down compared to the world juniors. If you look at Teams like Tampa or Pittsburgh last season its definetly a big concern if you struggle with the pace on the junior level. But he is still young, time will tell. He definetly has a lot of talent

Sweden fans have zero reason to blame the refs. The refs have let a lot go.

They've called 2 crap penalties that led directly to Canada goals. In the 1st when Chabot hit his man way after the whistle and then folded like a cheap suit to draw a penalty when Sweden returned the same, and that garbage call a few minutes ago (that, might I remind everyone, was goalie interference against Sweden when a near identical play happened at the other end of the ice).

Canada's been the better team most of the game, but they wouldn't be ahead on the score sheet right now without those terrible calls.

Admitedly have not watched Sweden play much but Alex Nylander skates and plays so much like William Nylander. They look like the same player.
