I usually cheer a bit for Canada going into tournaments, but international tournaments usually bring out the worst of HF, and the masses of obnoxious fans tend to sour me on it a fair bit. :laugh: I kept my distance this year, so I haven't had that experience yet. I don't really root for anyone in tonight's game.
 
I think Sweden will win since the refs aren´t from NA, so the canadien staff won´t feel really that comfortable.
 
What a treat again delivered by the courtesy of TSN, wait IIHF and WJC.

It should be one goal game Willy Nilly's bro being the difference maker in the end. You can do only that much against genius level talent on ice. Canada as much as I like the bhoys of Canada and cheer for them in this tourney cannot contain Swedish vision intellect skill combo when all is said and done.

Hence 5-4 to the Swedes.

The d has been better than last year. The forward group was little bit better last year i think. However it is not just d that shall defend and forwards that shall stand for the offense. They do both as a group.
 
The overwhelming amount of negativity about this tournament/team from the beginning is honestly kind of sad lol Canada was an underdog/under talented in 06 and you didn't see constant whining and crying about the team. People hoped for the best and cheered them on like hell. Not this year.
 
I really dont care who wins, like both nations a lot. Still think Sweden is stronger this year so I will go with Sweden
