barzal and strome have combined for 3 even strength points this tournament. if sweden stays outta the box, canada has no hope
Neither Strome nor Barzal has ever impressed me at this tournament. Lackluster last year and not much different this year.
Honestly can't understand what all the fuss was about......all they've shown me they can do is dangle against low end teams.
Frankly, ESPECIALLY with Strome, I just don't see what all the TSN hype is about.
Besides Finns, is there anyone out there rooting for Canada who isn't Canadian?
Honestly think we'll have a lot of the Finns on our side. Brotherly love/hate

Despite Sweden's performance and obvious skill, I think there is still a root for the "underdog" mentality with respect to Canada's opponents.
Not sure if that's the underdog mentality more than the rooting against the team that gets every conceivable advantage (hosting, scheduling, better dressing rooms etc) for this tournament.

I guess thats why everyone roots for Canada at the WHC.
.......
Oh wait....
Canada will win 5-2.
Our US announcers said we match up better with Canada than Sweden... so, get the win, neighbor!
Canada in canada. Small rink. Refs have to be strooong to this to be fair.
They were both better last year. Specifically Barzal.
