He hasn't been great aside from the goalie move in this game. His over-use of Strome when he was having a very poor game didn't do us any favors against the U.S.

He made line adjustments after the first period, that allowed Stephens, Cirelli, and Speers, to speer-head a Canadian comeback in the 1/4 finals. I don't think you are giving him enough credit. Had it been Lowry he would have stubbornly kept overplaying the same 4 players he leaned on too much where Team Canada was ousted last year.

Swedes have no right to complain after the show Jakob Markstrom put on a few years back. If you ain't cheating you ain't trying. You do look stupid if you get caught though.

...and when the other team does it your crying. Also, using something from years ago has literally 0 relevance on todays game. The mental gymnastics in here are interesting. I'm a Canadian, but it gets tiring seeing the homer's homer it up in here.

It's also funny that any time Canada dives, my fellow fans just go "lol just like Sweden" because they have their blinders on when Canadians dive and actually cheer for diving when it works out for us...yet it's cowardly when the other team does it...just blind sheep behaviour.

If you're referring to prior WJC tournaments and games vs Canada the difference is that Sweden actually never got any calls with them on those dives (or embellishments rather). Chabot got a call on the other hand. So I wouldn't really call that irony.

Unfortunately TSN no longer has national rights to NHL games. Fortunately for Sens, Jets and Leafs fans TSN has regional coverage for their teams. Ottawa often has Miller and Ferraro doing their games and its a treat.

That dive by Chabot was less acceptable than the lack of a call on Barzal getting hauled down. Refs miss calls all the time but it's up to the players to not flop like that.
