We always underperform in these games, especially against canada. 7-1 canada.

This game could be ugly for Canada. I don't have much faith in this team, and Sweden has looked like the best team in the tournament.

01:30 CET? First of all i hope TS means CET +1 otherwhise it's 02:30 for Sweden. Either way the idiot american organizers have done it yet again. No one is gonna watch this when working the next day. golfclap

As someone who will get up/stay up for any time of game to cheer on my team, your tears mean nothing to me. Suck it up buttercup, it's go time

Don't like Canada's chances. Goaltending being unreliable and just not looking good as a whole the last couple games. Think Sweden takes it.

Don't know why Sweden are such big favourites in this thread considering we haven't faced any top level teams (except a struggling Finland). Based on performance so far it's a 50-50 game but since Sweden chokes against Canada year after year after year my bet is Canada.

Sweden.

Round Robin super-champions.

Playoff super-chokers.

Especially against Canada IN Canada.

Canadian refs too?

Sweden should win this easily. I can't remember such an uninspired Canadian team with such terrible goaltending.

I really like Sweden's team this year, and I'm not all that impressed with Canada's roster, but they're still Canada. I'm thinking this should be a great game.

Could be a wild game. For Sweden the key will be to stay out of the box and keep the energy level high for 60 minutes.

Sweden is a clear favourite today. I've watched almost all the games in both pools and they have simply been better throughout the tournament. Yes, they haven't been battle tested against Russia/USA/Canada yet, but Canada has only had short stretches in either of those games where they appeared to impose any sort of dominance. The only way this version of Team Canada wins is by committee, especially from the bottom 2 lines, as the top 2 are poorly formed, and Strome has been a dud at even strength.

I really hope Canada plays their best game of the tournament and takes this.

Hoping Canada comes out on the ice like Gorillas coming out of a cage!
