I think that he was referring that team Sweden wasn't missing any eligible players, they had everyone that they wanted, whereas, USA, Canada, Russia all have players that were eligible but were not released from their NHL teams.

Yeah, I got the wrong guy. Thought it was Dahlin and not Dahlen (still a great read from Dahlen, though, so can't take that away from him). But from what I've seen of Dahlin as a 16 year old in this tourny that's really build for 19 and 18 year-olds is amazing. That kid is going to be absolute dynamite, and some team is going to be VERY fortunate to draft this absolute stud of a Dman in a couple of years.

Also didn't know he plays for the same team that developed Karlsson of the Sens. That's pretty cool. Those two together as a pairing could be the most dynamic D pairing for international competitions of any team (or if the Sens draft him, then the most dynamic pairing in the NHL). It's still early to make that assumption as a definitive one, but so far this kid looks so incredible. He looks like a superstar in the making to me.

Yeah, Dahlins ability to read the game as well as he does make me think could complent Karlsson in a good way. Even if there are similarities between them in playing style they could be fantastic together. And seeing them together.

Swedens defence will be looking very strong within a few years down the lane. Could potentially turn out to the best generation of defensemen that we've had so far.
