Is Svechnikov considered a power forward? I always though of him as more of a sniper.

I wouldn't consider Nuke a real power forward either. Built like a truck and forechecks like a beast but you don't see him hitting anyone.

The poll is not meant exclude forwards with other strengths/styles. It’s more about: what power forward aspects do they have?

Agreed but Svechnikov’s hit totals are quite good.

Is Svechnikov considered a power forward? I always though of him as more of a sniper.

I guess he's sort of a new-age power forward. He hits very hard, drives the net like a runaway train, and has a certain edge to his game. But he's not in the same category as a Wilson or Lucic. His game isn't quite that heavy and he doesn't look to mix it up quite that aggressively.

20 years ago he wouldn't even be in the conversation, but today's NHL makes it kind of hard to define a true power forward.
