Sutter: "You play like you ****ing practice."

Looks like I guessed right. I didn't think Sutter was going to keep cliffy on the top line, so I put gabby back in his natural slot.

I love to piss and moan about players, but in the end I think we all know that complacency is why this team has sucked for big stretches this season. Just as leadership, effort, and focus can have an effect on an entire roster, so can slacking off.

I think Sutter is finally calling these pansies out.

@drosennhl: I asked Sutter about getting more out of Brown-Kopitar-Gaborik. His answer: "Well, maybe they've all played as well as they can."

Sutter was then asked if he really believes that about Brown-Kopitar-Gaborik. His answer: "Well we're 50 games in so maybe they have."

Sutter added that Brown, Kopitar and Gaborik have been good at home and not good on road. Why? "Maybe it's a depth thing," he said.

Typical Sutter response.

Wife to Husband: "We're lost. Ask the gas station attendant for directions."

Husband to Gas Station Attendant: "Excuse me, sir, but what is your favorite ice cream?"

Sutter and Quick are the only people I have complete faith in to turn this ship around. They have this never say die aura around them that I wish more of the team would have. Hopefully they will shock the rest of the guys into leaving it all on the ice. While the past two games have been good, we don't have the time to slowly build steam. It's time to flip that switch.

We have the cheapest gas in town.

"this is a turning point... errr.. flip the switch" something like that!

They can borrow this from the Lakers. They don't use it anymore.

Shots fired.

It's the only bullet he has for that gun. Not like he can cut their ice time to send a message. Sending down Richards may or may not have shaken them up. You have a Captain, an Assistant Captain and a 14-year veteran on that line...As Magic would say, "IT'S WINNING TIME" and it's gunna have to be done the hard way, on the road.

But honestly, other than the entire 2011-12 playoffs, when has this team done anything the easy way?

Crap effort at practice is the sign of a team that has players that are feeling sorry for themselves.
