I'm gonna need to see all the other F3s before I totally disregard that statement as nonsense :)
Most final 3's are so effing terrible that there's no point. Someone just comes along and doesn't get a vote. Someone counted and it's happened like 30 times. I think a Gata lineup would at least see all 3 get votes

Survivor needs to alternate final 2 and 3. The fact Cagayan broke for whatever reason and needed a final 2 is what helped it become arguably the best season ever

Fair enough. I don't know if Sam gets any votes. maybe a sympathy vote from Sierra depending on how bitter she is at everyone else.

I don't see Kyle popping a vote at either Rachel or Andy considering how they sent him to the jury. Sam gets at least 2 votes as far as I am concerned
I doubt Kyle votes emotionally. He's an athlete, he'll be looking to reward the best player.

Sierra, who knows. She's bitter, but she might also want to show that she isn't bitter and vote based on game play. Plus, she's engaged...does she really want to tie her wagon to Sam when no one else is?

Rachel reminds me of a moment in a tribal council in season 39, Island of the idols. Sandra and Boston Rob are sitting in their press box listening to everything. Some player is answering Jeff's question with "I don't know" as usual. To paraphrse, Sandra pipes in off scene "You never have clue what's going on" and Rob just nods his head, as much annoyed as she is. That's Rachel in a nutshell. At this point I'm convinced she is a good player because everyone says she is. I cannot for life of me understand why such a good player never knows what the hell is going on.

I'm not even gonna bother with Teeny. Only Dusty Rhodes has been betrayed by his friends more times

Great point. She really does seem to never know what's happening. If it weren't for Sol's ridiculous twist that saved Rachel in the fake 'merge' she would have been gone ages ago.

I have never seen so much deus ex machina/divine intervention surround a player as much as her. You'd swear Jeff decided she is the main character and gave her plot armor. She is without exaggeration one of the luckiest players of all time

yep, only thing Rachel did in the game was her shot in the dark move and then reading everyone's reaction correctly. She was blindsided early in the game by Sam, Sierra and Andy. She's been blindsided plenty of times since then. Sol saved her ass from going home.

It's been a good season, but it's a very weak cast of players. No one really has a resume to speak of. andy is the only one who's got one at this point.

The pre merge ate a ton of potentially good players. 47 has arguably one of the best pre merges in the history of the show

How in GOD'S name are 4 people just sitting in the shelter with an idol probably back in circulation? Talking about looking for it? Holy sweet mother of Jesus. Tony and Russel Hantz would have a gimmick infringement lawsuit on their hands because of the way I'd be hunting for the damn idol. Everyone would know if I found it. Play it. Final 4 is guaranteed

I was thinking the same thing, man. How ridiculous of them all just sitting around talking about it, but not actually looking.
I don't ever want to see this immunity challenge ever again. Stacking balls is probably one of the stupidest concepts the show has ever made. But make sure they run through water and dig through sand first! This challenge needs a sprint and a dig!
Agreed about this stupid challenge.

Seems pretty obvious who's going to win this season. Apparently folks who analyze the edit each player is getting have predicted the winner and it seems like it's playing out pretty much to a T.

Well I can't pick for crap. I was convinced it was gonna be Caroline or Genevieve. I have nothing against them but they are not particularly entertaining narrators and the fact we got SO MUCH of them had me convinced they were winning.

It may still be Sam. He's lost his vote like half a dozen times and has had every bit the under dog story Rachel does

Genevieve being invisible for basically the entirety of the first 3 eps basically killed any win equity she had based on the edit. Only person to really have that and win was Natalie white, because survivor just loved Russell.

After last night's episode I can't see anyone winning other than Rachel. She probably wins final 4 immunity.

I am no joke on episode 5 of my Samoa re watch and Natalie has had maybe that many confessionals. Lol at how much this is the Russell show

Samoa is a fun season, but man that's a super annoying part of that season. Might as well have called it "Survivor: The Russel Hantz Experience"... Looking at a breakdown by episode, you're right. Natalie had 5 confessionals by episode 5... She only has 5 confessionals through Episode 7 lol

I will never pass my chance to piss on Redemption Island and I won't pass here. I'm certain by episode 5 Rob still had an higher confessional disparity than Russell right now and that show only had maybe 20 minutes a night not devoted to Tribal council or the mario party challenges at the beginning of each episode

At least Samoa is fun

Interestingly enough, they both had exactly 35 confessionals through episode 5. Lol absurd.

Here are the breakdowns for these two seasons.

Good Lord. I didn't realize how close the numbers aligned but yeah. RI is exactly as I remember it. Once the mini games were over you didn't go more than a few minutes without hearing what Rob had to say and it ate like half of what was left of your viewing experience until Tribal Council.

The funniest thing about Rob was Jeff giving him a heroic eulogy in the opening recap of the next episode after being stomped like a cockroach by Russell in HvV
