At one point Crosby tried to make a pass to the D, turned it over and started gliding. Karlsson sees 3 Preds coming with a step on the Pens forwards, panic pinches and misses. It's easy to kick Karlsson down on that play, but Crosby just gliding forced Karlsson to react rather than get time to think systematically.

Crosby overall has been mediocre defensively, putting his teamates in bad positions and not giving them time to think.
