Good morning! 5th place it is for the Sudbury Wolves today. Not sure if this team has it in them to claw their way back up but they better come out with some energy tonight. Oshawa will be ready and won’t have the bus legs. They travelled yesterday and appear to be taking first place incredibly serious with 8 straight victories now. Cmon boys did deep for the win. We need home ice advantage.

I think 4th place with a 1st round opponent in Kingston is the Wolves best chance to gain steam and keep a roll on. I don't like our chances against Mississauga or Barrie, but still lots of hockey to play. Wolves still hold the keys. If they go 6 straight, they still take 1st.

Yikes! Had the Wolves taken care of their own business the past few weeks and had not completely choked away some crucial games, they would have firm control of 1st in the Conference. Wolves can make all the excuses they want, but at the end of the day they simply haven't been good enough. The Villy/Konyen debacle is another excuse as well. So sick and tired of all the excuses the Wolves come up with. Tonight is a huge statement game. Go out and get the W. If Wolves have aspirations of going on this "historical run" that the Wolves organization keep trying to sell the fans on, Oshawa is the type of team they'll need to be able to beat come playoffs. With 6 games remaining, Wolves still have some control of finishing near the top of the conference if they perform. It's just a shame they've made it that much harder on themselves now to secure home ice. Regardless, if you want success come playoffs you need to be able to win at home or on the road. And this Wolves team was supposed to be "built" for the finals. This is Papineau's "contender". So it shouldn't matter who the Wolves face 1st round at all. They will need to beat teams like Oshawa, North Bay, Brantford, Mississauga, Ottawa.. whoever they face in the playoffs shouldn't matter for this so called "contender". Can't wait to see what happens.

1st will have Wolves play Barrie as things stand right now.
2nd and they play Kingston.
Beyond that is anyone's guess.
We will have a much better idea after this weekend.
They need to get some kind of momentum going into the playoffs.
And it all starts tonight!!!

Papineau’s contender? I hope Dario takes note. He has cost the boss a lot of money.☹️

It's interesting that in the Q, a DUI is only a 5-game suspension.
Yeah. 15 games for threatening someone in a private team chat. 5 games for driving hammered at 19 years old at 2 am while you probably have a team curfew.

CHL justice at its finest. Still wonder what Lockhart in Oshawa to justify his seven game suspension.

For those interested... Andre Anania was on "Behind The Bench" podcast. I didn't listen. Just saw the ad on Twitter.
Finally was able to listen to it. They talk a lot about his hockey story from minors to major junior. Around 45 minutes they jump into the current year. Lots of good nuggets in there. Nothing serious about anything that has been talked about on these threads but for the most part it was interesting.

Well the top line is -3!

Kmac bad game plan whatever it entailed.

No jump or passion from this team.

Enjoy the tykes game it’s more entertaining.

Good night

That is how you show up to the most important game of the year? I am usually a glass half full guy, but this is just sad to watch. So many things are wrong, but watching our overage forwards do absolutely NOTHING every game is brutal, especially when you compare it to the impact that the overagers on other top teams provide.
