Jason Blake's kid looking like a good one in a small sample size so far
Jason was an Islander right? I think I remember him.

Yep, Isle and (I think) Leaf around the time of the lost season, has a few 20 goal seasons and a monster 40 goal season right after the lockout to his record.Jason was an Islander right? I think I remember him.
Todd and Tyler Bertuzzi are uncle/nephew right?
There were the Sutters but I think only one son Brandon made it right?
To be fair, we haven't had many father to son recent successes.
Stephan Matteau
Martin Brodeur (2 sons drafted in the NHL)
Claude Lemiuex
Maybe I'm forgetting others but Kasperi was atleast a half successful than the peers mentioned above.
Yep. And yeah a handful of the Sutter kids got a cup of coffee but Brandon was the only regularTodd and Tyler Bertuzzi are uncle/nephew right?

Yup they are uncle and nephew.
The Tkachuks is doing alright
Tkachuk was brought up earlier but it had me thinking if only Roenick had a son who made it and were on the same line as one of the brothers, how cool that would have been to see the same chemistry as their fathers back in the early days of the Coyotes

Promising player for the Leafs once upon a long time. Just didn’t think the work ethic was there to carve out a role as a depth scorer who can be a top notch PK guy as well and a staple on your third line. Think he was afraid of the grind.
Chychrun’s dad was just a face puncher. To be fair, we haven't had many father to son recent successes.

He's a good skater with above average puck control, he's just not good at playing hockey.I feel like ive read a few articles about this guys off-season training and him not putting in the work
But then again somebody said that about Rantanen who is a superstar
is this guys only skill being effective on the PK

Geoff and Jake Sanderson come to mind.To be fair, we haven't had many father to son recent successes.

Yeah, although Mason McTavish's dad only got like 9 games in the NHL and mostly made his career in Europe. Which in comparison would make someone like Kasperi Kapanen's career highly successful. Are you thinking it was Craig MacTavish. While never making the NHL, guys like PLD and Sean Courturier's dad's had good minor league (AHL/IHL) and Euro careers, which outside those 9 games would be pretty comparable. There is also Josh Norris, Mason Mactavish and Jason Marchment
Wouldve been cooler if Roenick had a son and Derian Hatchers son broke his jaw
