Guess he wants to return to Europe. Too bad because he was decent. Probably had a shot at the nhl.

Bummer. Thought he was a rare Euro UFA that may have had some lower end NHL potential. Solid enough in the AHL but just didn’t do enough to stand out in a crowd.

From my AHL viewings, I think he topped out as a good AHL player. Has a good shot, but not accurate. Just a good skater, not a gamebreaker at the AHL level. He was fun to watch though.

Who knows, Sylvegard could have become the next Joakim Lindstrom. I guess we'll never know.

Really thought he would be a perfect fit as a 3rd liner in the NHL. Good hands and a mean streak.
