I wouldn´t say svíčková, being a very heavy dish, is a good gametime snack, especially not "game that starts 1AM local time" gametime snack.

Food that to me screams hockey game snack is a grilled sausage served with slice of sourdough bread, grated horseradish and mustard, but that's when you go to the game. When watching at home you would have similar salted snacks as in the US ie. potato chips and beer obviously.
