My friend is a graphic designer and came up with this team USA jersey concept. Given the number of Team USA hopefuls on the Rangers, I figured I would share with the rest of the class.

We're playing a pond hockey tournament next year and are planning on using these for our team uniforms:

I like the overall look, but I think it's one stripe to many on the bottom of the jersey. I would totally rock these for myself even at the current look. Very nice though.

I checked the Reddit thread and for a $75 price tag, I'd totally purchase one to wear for roller hockey and ice hockey pickup games with my name and number on it.

About a month ago I was preusing the Asian websites to see if they had the Ranger Stadium Series jerseys yet (they sometimes have the designs before NHL releases them). I stumbled across this:

When i say "designed" i mean he took an existing jersey from the 1976 Canada Cup Tournament, put it into vector format, changed the color, and put a neck tie on it.

You'll notice my avatar is the same picture you referenced. We actually searched all over looking for that jersey but couldn't find it anywhere, before deciding it would be easier if he just re-made it on illustrator.

Very nice, but it looks a little too Russian inspired, for Americans to wear.. in Russia. I'd rather they just copy the basketball logo. Made a quick lil edit..

I'll agree to this to an extent. Think it could use some work, but still very nice. Agree on the one too many stripe on the bottom. And the eagle irks me for some reason. Not sure what, but I'm not a huge fan.

We are going to mass produce them. So far we have 14 people interested, we'll be putting in the order Jan 2nd so that we'll have them in time for the Olympics.

Why copy USA basketball logo when USA Hockey has it's own fantastic logo.... ?????????
