Canes fan (yes there are Canes fans out there) here in peace. Will be down in LA over Xmas and New Years with family and will be going to LA vs SJ game on December 27th. Looking at possibly paying to watch in a suite. My question for you guys is what all do you get extra in the Suites? Any drinks or food? Or just simply a more private atmosphere to watch game?

This will be our 3rd game we have seen at Staples Center, sat in 100 level and 300 level last time, so were thinking of something new.

Any info you guys have to help us out would be great. Thanks in advance!

Just the private atmosphere. There's a TV in there, too. So you'll get to watch some replays. Single game suites are all at the top level (Just below the 300's). You pay extra for any drink/food services as an add-on to the suite price.

It's just a nice seat. You pay for all the food and drink you consume.

If it's a private deal (just folks) you pay for all the food/service.

If the box is leased by a Corporation, say (Wells Fargo) they pick up the tab(most of the time).

There is this. You can find suite tix on Stubhub. Usualy 2 or 4 or 6 or something like that. If they're on the 'A' level, they're corporate suites - and food and drink may be provided.

just stayed at the Hyde suite for a laker game, for the 6k the boss sprung for it was underwhelming except for the 80 inch tv to watch the giants and cowboys on during the 40 minutes of exchanging baskets, I know they are in rebuild mode but basketball just doesn't have the same intensity we enjoy on a nightly basis save your money and get a 200 or PR seat

I sat in one of the Suites once...

Dunno if it was the corporate golf clap atmosphere in our box, the distance from the ice, the separation from the bulk of the fans, or just that it was a Dallas game where the Kings went full Pejorative Slur... But it sure looked nicer down below.
We had a fridge with a few different kinds of beer (and enough suits to judge you for having more then 2) a hot dog buffet and they brought a cart around with all kinds of desserts and what not, but as said above doesn't seem like that was included, just not MY tab.

Get the premier seats at the angle closest to the suites/middle of rink, they are great. You get food and drink service as well. The view is great man, tickets are about $110 each.

Just a quick bump to this, are there scalpers outside Staples Center? We are looking for 3 tickets and the prices seem a bit much on Stub Hub.

Do we risk it trying to go with scalpers for game on Dec 27th vs SJ? Or there is a site called Vivid Tickets that has tickets that 'seems' cheaper. Might be shady though.....

Have never used Vivid for sports tickets but have for concerts. So they are legit.

1. Scalping is still illegal in California, and there are a lot of cops walking around Staples Center, so you risk getting caught at it (although it appears most cops just ignore the activity).

2. ****ers are always asking ME for extra tickets; I never get asked to BUY a ticket. So it is doubtful you can even FIND tickets to purchase from scalpers.

3. Stubhub ain't great but it's probably your best solution other than going to the box office, but I wouldn't want to drive all the way downtown to find the game is already sold out.
