It is insanely concerning for the Leafs - like...insanely. What the heck do they do now? Trade one of the great regular season players of this era? Trade Marner? Trade Nylander? Trade them all and start over? What a waste of 7 years or whatever it was.

Tavares has a full NMC and has his Leafs jam jams, so that's not happening.

So much firepower too. It's actually quite interesting to watch.
I mean they just need to trade Marner. Florida got trounced in the second round last year too now look at them. Blowing it all up is not the answer. Nylander has been the best player on the team trading him is definitely not the answer. Even at the start of playoffs Marner was non existent getting his garbage time points.

They need a Huberdeau Weegar for Tkachuk type deal. The sens wont be trading Tkachuk for Marner but they need something similar.

Lol. Fans booing and teams complaining really seems to work for generating calls. I have never seen players leaning on each other called like that before.

And my god Edmonton is bad Vegas score immediately after that call lmao. How does Martinez skate by 4 people?

It's gonna get called back. But the goaltender should take a penalty for diving.

Edit: LMAO and then they score again immediately. Holy f***.

The way the league is trending, i can't see any GM giving up a Tkachuk style player for Marner. And not only because of the softness of Marner, but the increasing reality of 2 years away from complete ufa dom for marner is too big a risk to take.

It would have to be a good to great player with team control for 4 plus years and that's gonna be near impossible.

As everyone is saying, this is a very shitty position for them to be in. And to quote owen nolan: boo hoo

Edmonton poked the wrong bear tonight. Good on Vegas for showing them very clearly what happens when you target their netminders.

Oilers literally aren't defending tonight. It's the most embarrassing performance I've seen these playoffs, and there's been some doozies!

Kane had a brain dead moment at the end of the period

Why do you like him? What makes him a good coach?
I like how he brought along the young players and got them to buy in to defensive effort. He is a really good tactician. He has his flaws but all coaches do. I don’t blame Keefe for his highest paid players not coming through when it matters most, I don’t think that will be a problem for Brady and Stu.

What did I miss here? VGK goalie got injured on a play with no contact whatsoever, and the only other contact I saw was Eichel tying up Ryan who then crashed thru Hill... And Hill had already braced for that

Interesting note on Austin Matthews 2016 scouting report:

“If I have to talk about weak points in his game I think that he still could raise his intensity-level a bit, especially in clutch-situations and in the game without the puck he also still has room to improve.”

Florida is shit Toronto’s top guys aren’t scoring. If they start and if Toronto wins 2 I think they pull it off

Rumour has it none of the scouts even bothered to ask if he could spell that word

Leafs could definitely make a push to get the series back on track but they just looked mentally checked out even before losing game 3.

I get the feeling Florida isn't going to let up

Tkachuk has been quiet the past 2 games. I’m hoping for a big night from him tomorrow.

Lot of ppl giving Keith Tkachuk credit for lighting a fire under the panthers but not enough talking about Paul Maurice literally blowing a gasket on the bench during that Toronto game during a goal review to lay into his team (who were trailing at the time). Can essentially point to that moment as the inflection point for the panthers and here they are up 3-0 in the 2nd round…
