Interesting how Keith Tkachuk turned the Panthers season around by calling them a soft team after the Sens embarrassed them. Since that day they have been really good.

Nylander 1 assist last 3 games. He has played hard lots of shots on net but almost no productivity.
Leafs still sucking since 1967. A total country club from the top of their organization on down. It's clear they won their Stanley Cup by winning one round this year....their first round win in 19 years!!

He's been flying. Which is hilarious because he was that one core member fans were trashing for years. I was probably one of the people skeptical of that deal but after these playoffs he looks like someone you want on your team.

He's the only guy who looks hungry and looks like he wants to win on every shift.

At the end of the day, Dubas was very loyal to the core of Matthews, Marner, Nylander and Reilly. He then added Tavares. Those are the big guns and despite various calls to alter the core after repeated failure, he stuck with them.

Dubas chose his players and they are letting him down. He also failed to get a goalie, but it's the same core that has let him down. They can all sink on the same ship.

I honestly thought going into OT, TO would win.

Who plays in net for TO on Wednesday? Samsonov back?

Hopefully a sweep for fun, but I won't write off the Leafs until it's over. 3 games down is one hill to climb

.. it's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood, a beautiful day ...

GO OILERS!!!!!
f*** them too

I really don’t think this series is over. Panthers are playing kinda meh. And the leafs big guns are scoring. They’re every capable of inning 4 I. A row and bob is capable of playing like shit

I don't want to get cocky because the Leafs could always come back (it's a stretch, but it could happen). Not trying to rag on them before the series is over, but the thing I notice with the Leafs team is that nobody on their roster really pulls guys into games. They don't really seem to have an inspiring figure that the rest of the team can rally behind. You really need at least one ultra competitive guy that refuses to die, and it doesn't look like the Leafs have that. Florida has Tkachuk.

I'm so happy that we have Brady and Timmy (and Giroux), because I think they have that fire in them. I can see them having bad games in the playoffs, but I imagine they will be playing with an extreme intensity and passion, and that's infectious. Karlsson was that guy for us last time we were in the playoffs, now it will be Brady and Timmy's turn.

The Leafs finally winning a round, only to be swept in the second would be some real poetry. They got that fourth win, but no more.

Florida putting the Leafs to bed would be absolutely gravy for these playoffs for me. Leaves the field wide open for a bunch of rootable teams without any recent major success. I think I'd be absolutely fine with any of the remaining teams - save the Leafs - winning the cup.

The sting of defeat is magnified by how far you go down the road to victory.

I worried that getting out of the first round would somehow be redeeming for Toronto. But instead it only set them up for this abysmal failure.

What a bunch of pathetic losers.

In the first round, all of the overtime wins made you think it was finally their time.

Playing like this in the second round makes you think those wins were lucky.

Ngl if I were a Leafs fan I'd be super frustrated.

After years of ineptitude your team finally commits to a rebuild, does it right(for the most part) and even gets some lottery luck, only for your core to be unable to step up their game come the playoffs.
