I don't want to sound so pessimistic but I just can't forget all of those game 7's (don't care about the Caps series cause the boys were all rookies) but after that, it's just so hard to imagine that they won't do it again. I won't even bring up 2013 cause outside of Reilly, that was a completely different team. You gotta get this crap outta the thread brother. Live in the present, let the past be the past.
Go Leafs Go.
We faced all different types of scenarios, first we were down 3-1 in the first series against the B's and won two straight to force game 7 and in game 7, we were up 4-3 going into the 3rd thanks to Kapy's shorthanded goal and then went to sleep in the 3rd. Next year we have JT and actually took the series lead 3-2 but then forgot how to score (when we needed it) for 2 games, Then of course came the Blue Jackets who were just a shadow of the team that swept the Bolts but again, our million dollar club forgot how to score in game 5, then of course came last year, that's still too fresh in my head. If it was one or 2 years, yeah I'd forget it but it was too many and just the way it happened last year.
Yeah, our boys might be more ready this season but they aren't playing the worst team ever to make the playoffs (like last years Habs) and without Bunting, our first line is nowhere as good, Kerfoot is having an excellent year but we need him on other lines.
