Hello! Stranger coming in peace with a question.
I just watched that Kyper podcast and they said Jason Spezza would be a healthy scratch tonight in favor of "tougher" guys. Granted, I don't watch many Leafs games, but from what I've seen, isn't Spezza one of the leader on the ice when it matters the most? I remember how he had to fought not so long ago, how well he played in last year playoffs despite not a great performance from his team, etc.
I don't understand. To my limited knowledge, Spezza played way above expectations for a guy of his age when the team played for a reason.
Can someone please enlighten me? Am I wrong in saying he's one of the Leafs best playoffs performer?
