Starting to get that familiar queasy feeling in my stomach the closer we get to game-time...

I was feeling confident in them last week but it's been dissipating.

I know they're good enough to beat Tampa... I'm just not sure this group has it mentally in the playoffs.

wouldn't mind seeing a couple goals from matthews & nylander
Post automatically merged:

They should have a pre-game show from 5-7 lol

Go Leafs Go!

I won't be able to watch the game... too late.. Oh well, just win and hopefully I'll start the new day with a smile.

are they going to do this kind of ticket release ahead of every game? $200 for playoff seat isn't too insane.

I highly doubt it - this seems more like a case of tickets just didn't sell, rather than them releasing more tickets.

Monday, short notice from the end of the season, uncertainty surrounding the team, Raps just finished, etc.

I suspect that if they win tonight, or manage to get ahead in the series, things will look really different on the ticket market.

I wouldn't expect this to be the norm. But then again, we live in the weirdest of times.

Damn guys I just finished a big ass jar of Nutella. Am I the only one stress eating?

the fact of the matter is we have no idea what the effects of the last concussion were. He could have had minimal symptoms. They really could have just been extra cautious with him, similar to Muzzin. We'll never know. Bowen Byram has gone through the same thing and has come back and looked better than ever. Getting concussions is extremely dangerous and life altering but it's not always the end of the road for players. Especially with the right treatment, regiments and awareness of post concussion symptoms. I doubt the Leafs would have put him out there if they didn't believe his condition and mental state was manageable or in a good frame.

Additionally we need all the weapons we can get. Kase makes our team better in a lot of ways and can also be used on the PK if needed. He's going to be a huge boost to our offense.
Yep.

it IS safe to say the Leafs medical staff have better insight into this decision than anyone on the outside looking in.

The organization as a whole doesn't exactly have a bad reputation when it comes to taking liberties with player healthy. Quite the opposite in fact.

I have been anxious about this game. If we come out of the gate and take game 1. I will ease up a little. This will be our hardest fight yet. This could be a goal scoring feast or a trap game that goes into Overtime. Hard to predict when these two teams meet.

Please Hockey Gods, let us take this series.

With all the line combinations from Keefe this year, once again we headed into the playoffs with our first line consisting of a formula we have not tried (aside from 1 game).. why does this always happen lol
