You guys should be reflecting the blame on no shows today. Our top players except for one shift have done nothing to create any offense.

John Tavares is a no show tonight. Unacceptable!

Leafs lose the next game and I think they are done. Don't think Keefe has it in him to motivate or out think Cooper for a strong comeback

Simmonds and Clifford are f***ing trash. This is why you don't play these morons. Penalties after penalties.
 
Trying not to be overly negative, but can't really think of anything positive to say about this performance. Just disappointing top to bottom.

Invisible captain, horrific special teams, meh goaltending, just nothing good to say. Polar opposite from game one. Just... I'm gonna bite my tongue now.

Leafs used up all of their energy in game 1. It will take them a week to recover lol.
 
Needless penalties (Kerfoot and Simmonds especially), the refs calling things that aren't even close to penalties (Boosh and Nylander), terrible defensive play and horrible work on their own few PP chances and this is what you get..

At least Marner and Matthews showed up again but you gotta yank Simmonds from the lineup after this..

I'm bewildered that people here aren't more worried about the reality of the situation.

Tampa didn't show up game 1. It was weird. And yes, when it's regular season pond hockey style hockey, our stars are amazing. And they were amazing game 1.

But Tampa is playing a PLAYOFF game today. And, to the surprise of nobody, it's rendered our star players invisible. Just like every other f***ing year.

It's infuriating to watch.

Look at the eyes of Dubas when they show him. They show complacency. The flat out understanding of what's going to happen this series.

Well, the did lose some of their third line, but they are defending champs. Leafs are quite different though, but they needed to be. They didn't win last year.
 
We didn't recoup after the first. The shitty reffing didn't help at all but hey, 1-1 heading into Tampa.

One word for game 3... RESPOND.

I don’t think people have very high expectations for Tavares anymore so there’s no reason to be upset.
