Simmonds plays fine when Clifford is playing because they feed off each other. They won't both be in because who do you take out, so it's Simmonds turn to sit.

The leafs are very easy to shut down in the playoffs. Horrible teams like Columbus and Montreal did it easily.

So I was confused after game 1 why Tampa (best team in the world) didn't just do the very very easy tactics to 100% shut down our star players.

I'm guessing at this point they just didn't try.

But this game looks PRECISELY like the past few years. Clog things up, give no room, our star players diasapper.

Look on the brightside, the Leafs are up a goal on aggregate. Tough game, every time there is momentum, a Tampa player embellished for a powerplay. They've also been diving on Campbell the whole game. Time to return the favour to Vasi.

It is one thing to lose a game but the leafs are so undicisplined, taking very stupid penalties. Keefe should be fired. Simmons is playing like a goon taking unnecessary penalties costing them goals and Keef keeps putting him out there.
