Oh yeah lmao one whopping fight 2 years ago surely means Spezza is a physical force. How many fights has he had since then?

Also, fights have nothing to do with this. Spezza doesn't body check doesn't crash the crease, etc, etc.

The dude is slow and soft to be the 4th line. Spezza is best used in skills situations or if we have trouble scoring. Right now, neither is a problem.

We have enough skill as is right now. If scoring is a problem, then Im sure Spezza will come in. Leafs dont need his skill set right now. Stop crying over a healthy scratch

lol. It is a good issue to have, but I think he brings more then Blackwell.

THAT IS A 5 and a GAME for charging the goalie in the crease Pasta!!!!!! If Clifford got pitched a game, he should be gone for 3.

PS PASTNERNAK just broke carolina's goalies and they play with the dirty third goalie prykhov. Raanta is injured and his jaw might have been broken by mr pasternak

I think as a group they are trying not to be over confidant and hoping to be surprised. There was actually a lot of that over the regular season as well. Other than Stammer the go-to forwards haven't been carrying the mail much this year. Point might not be 100% and maybe Kuch as well but they both played over 19:00. Vasilevsky's year looks a lot like Campbells except Jack beat them in April and finished with 4 strong starts and Vasi ended the regular season on a good game bad game rollercoaster through April. But based on the yoyo chart he is due for a good outing tonight.

I've noticed the Leafs could lure the Lightning into run and gun/trading chances during the regular season. I don't think Tampa can get away with this if their big guys aren't 100%. But trying to play low event hockey led to 24 SOG so I think they will do less hitting and more skating tonight. Could be a wild 1st period but for sure the Leafs can't give up that many power plays again.
