My suggestion would be to skip over posts like that if that is not what you want to read. I don't think we are here to gatekeep others and how they feel or react to something that happens in the game. The world isn't 100% positive, no reason to pretend a hockey game or the reactions to said game will be either.

Not that I believe in it, but the 'igore user' feature is also an option.

That being said, I love your desire for positiveness!

I am for free speech, but seriously, when we have great success this post season, hopefully the tripolar nature of our fans, us here, the whole city becomes more patient and less toxic.

This team is hands down one of the top five teams for excitement in NHL history imo. Already.

I know that is a very bold statement, but its what I feel from an observational point of view.

If the refs continue what I saw in game one? No one can skate and handle the puck with us.

And Keefe has the overall team playing Burnsie level defence on top of all that.

God bless the trifecta of Shanahan, Dubas and Keefe, and lets skate these guys to the point of exhaustion.

Sure the Leafs outplaying them would have had an impact but the bad passes and lazy plays had nothing to do with the Leafs.
A team can be flat on it's own without it being caused by the opponent. It's happened to the Leafs this year a few times.

Usually bad passes and odd plays happen when you have fraction of a second less time that you have used too. If we take the first passing option away you cause delay and it goes from there. Usually we are the ones that bobble the puck on blue line resulting odd man rushes and breakaways. Now we got tons of chances from giveaways on Tampas blueline.

If I have to guess Tampa will start to play puck behind our defense and go from there, if they can't play it with control they have used to. Then we adjust, but I don't think they make that same mistake again, that they try to pass or skate trough us. When they lose possesion by playin dump and chase, which they don't want wont mean that they played bad, it means that we took other options away and controlled the flow of the game.

Our whole PK based on the fact, that we limit their options and then swarm the puck carrier. It was scouted thing and something that we produced. Not some laziness. Same has happened also to us. Opposition forechecks like crazy and we have to rise the tempo and we start to bobble the puck.

Off course if their transition works in this game and they execute same game plan they had last time we can say they played badly. If they adjust I just think it wasn't that much about execution it was just fact that they were outplayed.
