Truly a great day. I was on the LA Live side right in front when Matt Greene said his short speech. When the buses blew the confetti and it was falling down all around us, I remember thinking it can't get any better than this. What a fantastic event.

Loved watching this video. Sad that Gagne never really panned out here in LA, but happy that he got to experience winning a Cup and the parade and rally as a King. It must have been gratifying for the guys who signed with LA with the faith the Kings could compete and win a Cup. Mitchell for wanting to finish his career a King, Scuds for not coming to LA to finish second (remember that promo?), Gagne for waiting to sign here even though he knew he was the Brad Richards back-up plan.

I want to take the celebration one step further and top his performance from last season. I expect projectile vomiting on the ice when they win it a second time.
