In double overtime, Alec Martinez scores one of the most iconic goals in LA Kings history to win the franchises' second Stanley Cup in three years. Watch the entire series at lakings.com/moments

Amazing piece of production. Incredible moment galvanized on video.

Amazing.

Nick Nickson summed up the lead up to the goal the best, once I saw Martinez had a chance to bury it, I knew it was going in.

The moment Mike Futa flinches when he see Martinez can bury the rebound. That's the greatest moment. I had the same reaction, I was completely dialed into the game. But when I saw Martinez had the open net. I gasped. That's the best second of the whole thing. It's in that second you realize we're gonna win the cup.

It's rare in life you remember a particular second. But I'll never forget what I did in that second. I moved forward an inch and I gasped.

Exactly, me too. I was in my chair at home and the split second it bounced to Martinez, I was already screaming like Foxy on the broadcast. I knew that sucker was the series right there.

It happened right in front of me. My seats last season were in section 112, row 8. I was literally 50 feet away from Martinez when he shot it in. I remember thinking "here it is" when I saw the 3-on-2.

The arena exploded. It was by far the loudest I've ever experienced there. I remember high-fiving everyone in the vicinity. The guy and gal in front of me were not the season ticket holders (how the **** can you not go to THAT game?) and they looked like they had died and gone to heaven.

It was a moment I will never forget. And I remember thinking after a couple of minutes: "We just won our second Cup in three years." Un-****ing-believeble, really.

I really liked the different shots of people waiting for that score. All ready to stand and all in a moment of apprehensive panic like if the puck somehow just goes over the net and not in, but it nailed the camera it was so sure. lol

The shot of the entire ice surface from a vertical perspective with the crowd at Staples Center popping out of their seats was pretty damn amazing. I want a wallpaper quality screenshot of that, stat!

I, like many others, also jumped in that split-second before AMart buried that rebound. I also jumped when Toffoli hit the crossbar in the first OT.
Much like Ron said, the realization that we had just won a second Cup was just insane. A few of you have been around longer than I have; I have been a fan since 1978.
To win just one Cup would have been just fine. But in the last 10 years I have seen my teams win three World Series (the Red Sox) and three Stanley Cups (the Bruins are my 1A team).
This has been a great run; who knows how much longer it will go?

It's the same thing I did.

That shot at 6:22 that was mentioned, absolutely. Awesome.

I'm feeling a lack of Jim Fox though
