Stanley Cup Finals Avatars?

Hey fellas.

This is a rare time for us. How do you guys feel about making Finals avatars for the occasion?

If we do I was thinking something based around the following:

Sacrificial lambs fight back
Prove them wrong
Crown the King
Hey, you never know
David and Goliath

Obviously if you guys are down you can throw some ideas around and hopefully you .gif wizards will do their thing.

Someone would have to make them unfortunately. I could turn up the MS Paint stuff again :naughty:

I did very well last time I went! :)

No worries if you guys don't want to make any new avatars. Figured the superstitious among us would hiss aggressively at the idea lol. I may very well just make my own avi. That's what I did for the 2012 run, sort of. I kept the alien theme but made it more unique. Came up with this gem, got a lot of compliments on it. :laugh:

That wasn't worded great it was obviously the players. But I'm just really superstitious and making a whole new set of avatars sounds like a whole lot of bad mojo. And I think most people here would agree with that sentiment, I just don't see the point of it. We have awesome playoff ones as it is.

when i was a kid we had a 32 inch tv in the living room (GINORMOUS back then) and a 13 inch tv in my parents bedroom.

I refused to watch games that my dad would watch on the big TV with him because I knew my team would always lose when i watched it on that tv.

I watched the New York Yankees 3-peat on that tiny ass tv. I watched the Rangers win the stanley cup on that tiny ass tv. I watched the Knicks get to game 7 of the NBA Finals on that tiny ass tv.

I also watched OJ Simpsons bronco chase interrupt a sporting event i was watching on that tiny ass tv as well...but i cant remember which one it was.

i miss that TV...I blame it for all our failures since then. The damn thing more or less exploded after a while.
