I too appreciate any deviation from "small logo here"


Remember when PJ boy had the golden helmet in the Swiss league during the lockout? I always thought that would be a fun thing in the NHL.

Let's be honest. This game is coming at the perfect time. After two lackluster efforts, if these guys cannot get up for their first game against their biggest rivals in almost a year and a half, outside in a football stadium, on a national stage, they should probably look for new careers.

Before I look -- would anyone like to post the Isles PK #'s vs Rangers PP #'s?

I dont think its gunna be pretty.

Weather showing as 37(F) and sunny.
 
Ok, if they go out and lay an egg in this game that HAS to be a catalyst for change, no? I can’t imagine ownership would be happy.

Yes.

Sadly, most of the time Isles take penalties (other than intentional slashing/cross checking/roughing type) it's a result of them being out of position on the play. We're good at being in the wrong place. (Defense, I'm looking at you)..

Similar to Rocky to Mickey regarding Apollo Creed

"It's Apollo"
"Did you think he wasnt gunna show?"

Maybe the Rangers won't show up?

If Roy cannot get more out of this team which means a run to the playoffs and winning playoff rounds (and even if they do) changes need to continue to be made. The result of this game doesn't really change much for me.

Change is vital no matter what happens this season. This exact group simply can't be brought back again next season.

A more upbeat question:

For those of us not willing to waste north of $250 for this game while sitting in New Jersey outside in the cold for 3 hours --has anyone seen a good viewing party/spot to watch with Isles fans?

Nah that's just a unique color for a unique franchise.

The logo / advertisement is still "small logo here".

What will happen if they embarrass us?
Would this sway ownership and or Lou I wonder?
I hope we show up and battle.....
