So no thread made yet. Canada has announced it's roster today.

Rosters

Lot of former Habs : Matt D'Agostini, Christian Thomas, Victor Bartley, P.-A. Parenteau plus their actual prospect Jake Evans.

Interesting to see veteran Chris Kelly in there. Seems like only three AHL teams accepted to loan players (Thomas, Goloubef, Schultz)

Not a bad team and some players like Maxim Noreau could be on the Olympic squad.

I just figured it's THE Jeff Schultz who's in the AHL for a couple of years now and was part of the Capitals. The one who had a +/- 50 in 09/10, this stat still baffles me..

I think its a good roster for this tourney but as an Olympic dress rehearsal it is tough to see where the offense comes from.

Play a decent Mountfield team tomorrow so lets hope they can get a PP clicking.

Fazzini has simply put the best wrist shot of the NLA. What a shot.

Didn't look like a fair matchup. Beside Indrasis Riga had no offense. And the defense looked so slow. And then you have to match guys like Hofmann, Suter, Praplan and others who probably among the best skaters on european ice.

Switzerland-Canada probably the obvious pairing for the final.

But Dinamo Riga is one of the weakest Teams in KHL .

Ambühl is playing for Davos. Since Davos is the host and they probably care the most about winning the tourney, he stays there. Its also not like our national coach needs to see him in action for the Swiss anymore, since he's a lock for the olympics anyway.

Its an exception. They do it so because of the olympics, so the Swiss national team has some training beforehand.
