Spencer Knight is signed for 2 more years after this season at 4.5 mil, but is currently playing in the AHL.

There's a good chance that Florida still sees him as their goalie of the future, but if they want to move on(and feel a need for cap space), what do you guys think it would take from Ottawa to obtain him?

I wouldn’t blame Panthers fans for wanting to keep him and/or having a high price on him . That being said I would aim for someone a little more established to help turn the Sens around, last thing they need is another maybe in nets (even a highly talented maybe).

How has he been managing since coming out of the players assistance program for help with OCD.

The Sens really looking to spend $8.5 million AAV for multiple seasons on a guy who has been crappy in the NHL and a guy who (though talented), hasn’t even been all that great in the AHL?

You spend $8.5 million on Hellebuyck not on two guys who you aren’t even sure what they are. For the Sens to do that is cap suicide.

So .. to keep a clean cap, it would be better to just let Korpisalo play for the next four years?

He seems in a good place and better personally, but he has a little ways to go yet to get to solid backup/1B status in the NHL. From what we've heard from people around Charlotte is he's been better than his numbers this season. Panthers are still trying to get Charlotte up to par with the big team. Doesn't help that they are playing more youngsters than ever before.
