I mean, I don't know what the answer is, but why would I pay $4.99/mo. for Post+ sports when The Athletic, for example, is less than that and covers nearly every sport and every team nationally? My renewal for The Athletic is $21.59. Annually. What does that break down to? A buck seventy five a month?

Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Charge me $14.99/year and I'll think about it.

Agreed. Athletic should hire Larry and fire Carp...win-win.

Why? Read it first here on the Boards for free... this is where Larry mostly comes for insight.
I’m sure he has 1-2 sources inside, but it’s likely they only leak to him when they want the town cryer to do his job and let everyone know

Honestly, yeah.

The steroids combined with the strong cycle routines have changed the game.

Harrison Ford used to be the gold standard, now it's Hemsworth.

true story.
Give it a few months and a Personel chef and you can blow up like Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman.... and on and on. Shit Christian Bale went from playing 135 pd crackhead in the fighter, to go back to being jacked for Bruce Wayne in Batman

figure about 7,500 bucks and 3-4 months and a trainer and a chef along with the assistance of some modern pharmaceuticals and you too can be jacked
Some bozo the other day tried telling me the Rock was all natural because he heard him say that in an interview. Yes there are people walking around that are that dumb...

Just wait for the article about Kakko coming to camp fat, Larry rips all his info from me

The $7500 must be for the chef/trainer. $500 will get you a substantial steroid cycle that’s probably stronger than what any of these guys run that’ll last two months. Unless you’re adding HGH. And if you know how to eat/workout, you really don’t need the trainer or chef, it’s just a luxury that allows these celebrities to go on cruise control. Honestly, anyone who is at a moderately advanced level in the gym and knows how to be disciplined with food can get insane results if they want to dabble in pharmaceuticals. Unfortunately, most people who do so don’t do adequate research, aren’t responsible about what they’re doing, etc. That’s why it’s so easy for these celebrities with the guidance of doctors and trainers.

Not a chance unless Robertson blows off the doors in training camp and beats out both Nemeth and one of Lindgren or K'Andre for a spot outright. The Rangers will make cuts elsewhere if you're just speculating.

If this is based off something you heard, I'm more concerned about the front office's approach to roster building. Lindgren is literally the type of player that they want to have more of, not less of.
Exactly. Cap casualties are never the players the team wishes to keep.

This explains it all!

Have you gotten to try any fast food here?

Well, there is fast food in Finland too. There are a couple of good places like McDonald’s. But I can't do it too much.

I’ve heard McDonald’s and other fast-food places are better in other countries. Is that true?

Maybe, but it’s not much healthier in Finland. But everything can be made gluten-free at McDonald’s in Finland if I ask it, so sometimes I do spend time there. [Ed. Note: Finnish McDonald’s does indeed offer gluten-free options, including gluten-free buns.]
What’s your favorite McDonald’s meal?
Big Mac. It’s classic.

Hesburger is much better than McDonald's in Finland. Not sure they have gluten-free options though.

His column has become more and more irrelevant over the years. His scoops are few and far between. Barely worth the time and energy spent checking, much less actual money.

The Forever Blueshirts guy has access to the article.

Larry Brooks is reporting that the New York Rangers and Mika Zibanejad both want to work out a long-term deal.

“Individuals familiar with the situation have indicated that the parties share the mutual objective of getting something done and are earnest in trying to reach that end,” Brooks wrote in his Rangers Insider now part of POST SPORTS+ (subscription required).

Brooks mentioned the Couturier deal in the article.

You know the marvel cinematic universe has shifted body expectations for men when we are fat shaming professional athletes

Haha, but it could be worse, saw all movies and series in a row the last year with my son and they do have some intentions…

Ha, I tried but it’s not even possible to subscribe outside the US. Can even someone in Canada get it?

I doubt this will be long lived.
It's viable if they pair Larry with Larry equivalents for the NYC sports teams that are way bigger than the Rangers, but I'm not quite enough of a nerd to know about the Knicks/Giants/Yankees media/insiderrr worlds. If it's Larry and a bunch of Carps it's gonna have a hard time getting subscriptions.
