LOL....I'm not advocating for it unless it is at a half of his current deal and role ....and if that did transpire I would not be shocked . They have not shown any indication of moving him or lessening his role to make him less prone to errors to up his value .....so...we shall see .

He will go the Jesper Fast route. We will be close enough at the deadline that he won't be traded. But there's no chance he will re sign with us. Somebody will give him a better offer. Maybe we can pull what TB did with Goodrow. Get a late rounder for his rights before free agency starts.

I can understand why it would be a bit annoying if you want a higher pick, and they got 2 points for that crap last night, but at the end of the day, they're not gonna lose on purpose.

I do too but at this point in the season with where they’re at, I’d rather they just keep winning for draft reasons. Give the Penguins the 18th pick or whatever and save next year’s cause who knows how it turns out.

Well, if you are going to go there (jest or not) I have actually yelled "you go Chytil" instead of saying Cuylle. Damn, they look similar in ways......but it's just me still liking Filip, but nothing against Will. Just a brain fart, that's all.

K’Andre has the potential to be our sergachev. I think you give him the extension and he’s still so young the deal won’t age poorly. Defenseman take time and for all his warts, he’s played solid top 4 minutes since the first game of his career.

Agree, and would have no problem signing him long-term but for reasonably cheap. He'd take it, and we could only hope we'd have a bargain as part of top pair, hell even at 2nd pair.
But, if he ever fell to 3rd pair, because of being passed up by "our AHL studs" (lol) then we would probably be overpaying, and then we'd have another Trouba problem, but not quite that expensive of an issue.

You know, there's def something to that. They're surely good friends, and being able to make the big club is HUGE for them. Stick together, support each other. We can do this type of attitude......not like some of our overpaid "boys club" players. We have to change this damned "I'm all of that and a bag of chips" attitude. Just friggin win baby, that's what it's all about.
