Seeing as this is the best hockey we have seen in a while. If you are a fan of the sport, I don't understand how you can watch this and not enjoy it.

Sure you can say "I don't like this because I am scared they take away the Olympics" which I guess I can see that, but that doesn't mean this isn't entertaining good hockey.

Besides hockey is the ONLY sport where players leave during the season and teams are expected to insure their players without a slice of the profit.

I understand the point of this tournament, and honestly the only difference between this and the Olympics is which organization takes your profits.

Plus I prefer the NHL rules here anyway.

If the only difference between this tournament and the Olympics was the organizing body, there would be hardly anyone with an issue. Does the Olympic tournament place roster restrictions on teams? Does the Olympic tournament have gimmick all star teams? Does the Olympic tournament have a team designed to have players potentially playing against their own country?

The difference between this tourney and the Olympics is that the International Ice Hockey Federation manages the Olympic tourney. The NHL manages the World Cup. They are worlds apart.
