Maybe Friday against the Kings, but I think Sunday versus the Sharks makes a lot of sense. A bit of time to familiarize with everything here, against the only team that might be worse than us, and not having to ease him and AA back at around the same time.

I think there is a chance. But Its more likely he plays Friday since he has so many games to play. Give him time to take a breath. They lost yesterday. Signed today. Play Tuesday? Thats a whirlwind of emotions.

But my initial thought was he would play Tuesday. But since the team only said "morning skate" then I'll guess Friday

Agreed, Hope he's aggressive, physical and goes to the paint for dirty goals....Hawks need more of that with some skill in the lineup.

That's probably the case. But expect a solid bottom 6 forward that is good along the boards, goes to the net, and is not easy to play against every shift. He's fairly responsible and won't make dumb ass decisions. Nothing fancy.

The hope is he develops into an effective PKer and can play on a 2nd unit PP.
