He's not, he was injured through training camp so he remained on the Sharks roster while he rehabbed his injury, but he's a Cuda signing. Gotta get through waivers to get to the Cuda.

Carlsson was collecting his AHL salary while injured due to being on SOIR and no NHL time last season. Still, his AHL salary is $425k so not bad.
